Overview
As a global company with users in nearly every country around the world, NetBrain has implemented a comprehensive global data privacy and security policy to protect the personal and confidential information entrusted to us by our customers, users, and end-users. As part of this policy, the NetBrain Security Operations team are continually identifying areas of improvement to better secure your data.
NetBrain Technical Support will be fully decommissioning our 2FA-based QNAP Server (https://security1.netbraintech.com) on January 1, 2023. Any customer data present as of decommission date will be automatically migrated into our read-only BeyondTrust/Bomgar platform for further review by our Technical Support Team.
To better ensure the safe transmission of your most sensitive data to NetBrain Technical Support, Services Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Pre-Sales teams we have deployed a new solution based on Files.com that is more tightly integrated with our BeyondTrust/Bomgar platform to further limit any potential for data leakage or mitigate risk for compromised data.
Data Removal and Data Preservation
NetBrain will honor requests of organizations to delete any sensitive data held that is kept in an identifiable form and will retain this data for no longer than necessary to help support your technical support case resolution or service program initiatives. Unless otherwise specified, NetBrain will delete all such data after the relevant data retention period has elapsed, typically 90 days.
