    Self-Service Integrations

    What is a Self-Service Integration?

    NetBrain classifies any integration as “Self-Service” if the integration of NetBrain with the application requires no additional customization beyond the localized configuration within the NetBrain platform.  These integrations are typically Single Pane of Glass (SPoG) integrations with a templated Data View Template (DVT) where NetBrain retrieves data from the 3rd party system to enhance the NetBrain Map.  Configuration typically takes place within the NetBrain System Management and/or Domain Management interfaces and may require an additional code module to be installed locally in the NetBrain Web Server or Front Server virtual machines.

     

    How can I deploy one of these Integrations?

    These integrations may be deployed in one of the following ways:

    Self-Service Execution

    Self-led execution using the available NetBrain integration documentation found within the Customer Success Center Knowledge Base and our NetBrain GitHub Repository.  If you experience problems or issues, you may contact NetBrain Technical Support for assistance.

     

    Paid Professional Services

    If you would like our NetBrain Professional Services team to complete the integration, we would be more than happy to explain our Professional Services offerings with you.  These integrations can be completed as part of our standard services packages or a customized package.  Please contact your NetBrain Account Executive, Customer Success Manager, or NetBrain Technical Support for more information.

    NetBrain Integrations Requiring Services Engagement

    What is the difference between these integrations and your “Self-Service Integrations”?

    Integrations in this next list are highly customized each time they are deployed and are as unique as your network.  These integrations typically require customized Python scripting, deployment and customization of NetBrain software on the server-side, or additional customizations due to a database table variance in the 3rd Party Vendor deployment in your environment.

     

    I’d like to integrate my NetBrain system to perform one of these functions.  How can I deploy one of these Integrations?

    Unfortunately, NetBrain does not offer self-service documentation for this class of integration.  Due to the level of complexity (server-side scripting, database updates, NetBrain object coding, etc.) of each of these integrations, these must be completed as part of a NetBrain Professional Services engagement.
